Régine Feltkamp possesses extensive expertise in business law, with a particular focus on regulated activities (energy sector, banking/financial sector). Recently, she has concentrated on digital transition projects in regulated sectors (energy/financial sector).In addition to issues typically related to the legal frameworks applicable to these sectors, her work involves contract law, liability, general business law, and corporate law.Régine has extensive experience drafting, negotiating, and advising on various types of commercial agreements, as well as managing (international) multiparty contractual negotiations, including the legal management of projects. Over the past year, she has been closely involved in European market coupling projects in the energy sector, connecting TSOs and NEMOs across Europe.She has also contributed to drafting various laws and regulations in her areas of expertise, including laws related to the energy sector and the Belgian Economic Law Code commissioned by the Belgian Ministry of Economy.Régine is a law professor at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, where she teaches courses on Financial and Economic Law and Selected Topics in Contract Law. She has previously been appointed to teach Principles of Private Law (2007-18), Property Law and Real Securities (2009-12), and as a substitute for Financial and Monetary Law (2014-16).
